DNS Name Server Record Properties—Domains Served tab
The Domains served tab lets you configure the domains for which the name server will provide service.

DNS Name Server Record Properties—Description tab
Optionally, provides an extended description. This information is useful to help track changes or it can
be used as criteria for searches.
The maximum length is 20,000 alphanumeric characters.
DNS Recursion Record Properties—General tab
By configuring a recursion record, you can configure the security gateway to resolve host name
requests for a specific outside system or network. This delegates the name lookup for that site to a
specific IP address for the external network.

Field Description
Domain A unique name for the domain.
The maximum length is 256 characters.
Allowed characters are a-z, A-Z, numerals, periods (.), dashes (-), and underscores (_).
Do not include spaces in the name. The characters @,!,#,$,%,^,&,*,<,> and other reserved
characters are also invalid.

Field Description
Enable Indicates whether this option is enabled.
This option is checked by default.
Accessibility The Public status is displayed.
This field is read-only.
IP address IP address of the external network or host.
Netmask Displays the subnet mask.
The default is 255.255.255.0. For a single computer, type 255.255.255.255.
Caption An optional, brief description of the DNS recursion record.
The maximum length is 128 characters.
