Dissolving a cluster
When you dissolve a cluster, all of its cluster members must then be individually managed. You would
dissolve a cluster when you no longer want to manage them in a clustered environment and you want
to return to individual management of each security gateway. For each cluster member, you have the
option to either restore previous configuration or to use the existing configuration.
Note:
To remove an individual cluster member, use the Modify Cluster option.
Prerequisites
None.
To dissolve a cluster

In the SGMI, on the Tools menu, click
Cluster > Dissolve Cluster

To dissolve the cluster and restore the security gateways to their pre-cluster settings, click
Restore previous
configuration
.
■
To dissolve the cluster and use the current settings, click
Use cluster configuration without
cluster information
.
