Drive chain tension
Drive chain adjustment
To adjust the chain tension, you should loosen bolts

and
B
and then loosen the screws

until the chain is correctly tensioned. Check the symmetry on either side of the
arm using the marks

. Tighten the bolts

The sliding part is designed to adapt to the longest chains by turning it
through 180°.
Set the bike on a suitable stand so the
the rear wheel is off of the ground.
LIft the chain as shown.
The chain slack should be 50mm (2
inches) when measured perpendicular
to the swing arm as shown. If it is
greater or less than this dimension
then the chain tension should be
adjusted.
Warning :
Poorly adjusted chain
tension can lead to mechanical damage.

Checking play in link rods
Pre-load adjustment of the rear
shock absorber spring
To adjust the rear shock absorber spring pre-load,
loosen bolt 1, then turn bolt 2, re-tighten

With the bike supported by a suitable
stand, press the top and bottom of the
back wheel. If any play is found, please
contact your dealer.
Warning :
When cleaning with a high pressure jet, never direct the
jet directly on the dust seal.
