Adjusting the brake pedal position
- The static position of the brake pedal

can be
adjusted as follows: loosen the locknut

, then
tighten or loosen the screw

in order to achieve
the required position. Re-tighten the locknut

- You should then adjust the guard

, with a free
movement of 3mm minimum. To do this, loosen
the locknut

, turn the stem

until you achive
the desired result, then tighten the locknut

Checking the front brake
fluid level
Topping up the front
brake fluid
With the brake reservoir in a horizontal
position, the brake fluid should be able
to be seen in the observation window.
The fluid should be between the two
arrows as shown in the diagram below.
It should be nearest to the upper arrow.

Checking the front brake pads
Warning :
Wear on brake pads should be checked
regularly for the sake of your safety.
Under no circumstances should it be
less than one millimetre thick.
