Trigger In
► To access this dialog, select "SGMA-GUI > Instrument Name > Baseband > ARB >
Trigger In".
The "Trigger In" section is where the trigger for the signal is set. Various parame-
ters will be provided for the settings, depending on which trigger source - internal
or external - is selected. The current status of signal generation ("Running" or
"Stopped") is indicated for all trigger modes.
Trigger Mode
Selects trigger mode.
The trigger mode determines the effect of a trigger on the signal generation.
"Auto"
The signal is generated continuously.
"Retrigger"
The signal is generated continuously. A trigger event (internal or
external) causes a restart.
"Armed_Auto"
The signal is generated only when a trigger event occurs. Then the
signal is generated continuously.
"Armed_Retrigger"
The signal is generated only when a trigger event occurs. Then the
signal is generated continuously. Every subsequent trigger event cau-
ses a restart.
Button "Arm" stops the signal generation. A subsequent trigger event
(internal with "Execute Trigger" or external) causes a restart.
"Single"
The signal is generated only when a trigger event occurs. Then the
signal is generated once to the length specified at "Signal Duration".
Every subsequent trigger event (internal with "Execute Trigger" or
external) causes a restart.
