Replacing the Flash Module Cable

Installed to connectors on the motherboard assembly in PCIe2 slot 1, the flash module cable is a

mini-SAS 36-pin to dual 7-pin SATA splitter cable. This cable must be installed in order for the

system to access the flash modules.

These tasks describe how to remove and install the flash module cable.

Prepare the server for service.
