Install Fan Tray 1

Install Fan Tray 1

Remove the replacement fan tray 1 from its packaging and place it on an

antistatic mat.

Lower the fan tray, and slide the fan tray 1 bracket back so that the tabs enter the

slots.

Caution -

To ensure proper system cooling, make sure the airflow direction arrow on the fan

assembly points to the rear of the server.

Squeeze the fan tray handle until you can insert the front tab into the front slot.

Connect the fan tray 1 cable to the PCI mezzanine.

Return the server to operation.
