Setting Alarm Delay Time
You can set the alarm delay time for over-limit alarms of continuously measured parameters. If the alarm-triggered
condition disappears within the delay time, the monitor will not give the alarm. You can set the [
Alarm Delay
] in the

] window of the [
Alarm Setup
] menu.
Alarm delay is not applied to the following physiological alarms:
Apnea
ST alarms
Arrhythmia alarms
ECG Weak Signal
Resp Artifact
No Pulse
Nellcor SpO
2
over alarm limits
Measurements of noncontinuous parameters over alarm limits
HR over alarm limits
You can set [
Apnea Delay
] and [
ST Alarm Delay
] separately in the [
Others
] window of the [
Alarm Setup
] menu.

Setting SpO
2
Technical Alarm Delay
You can set [
Tech. Alarm Delay
] in the [
Others
] tab of the [
Alarm Setup
] menu. The options are [
Off
], [

10 s
] and

15 s
]. The delay is effective to the following technical alarms: SpO
2
Sensor Off, SpO
2
Too Much Light, SpO
2
Low Signal
and SpO
2
Interference.

Setting Recording Length
You can change the length of the recorded waveforms. In the [
Others
] window of the [
Alarm Setup
] menu, select

Recording Length
] and toggle between [

], [
16 s
] and [
32 s
]:

]: 4 seconds respectively before and after the alarm or manual event trigger moment.
[
16s
]: 8 seconds respectively before and after the alarm or manual event trigger moment.

32s
]: 16 seconds respectively before and after the alarm or manual event trigger moment.

Intubation Mode
When performing intubation during general anesthesia, you can set the monitor to enter intubation mode in order to
reduce unnecessary alarms. Intubation mode is available for Resp and CO
2
parameters. In the setup menu of these
parameters, you can choose the [
Intubation Mode
] button to disable respective physiological alarms.
The default intubation time is 2 minutes. You can also change the time by following this procedure:
1. Select [

enter the required password.
2. Select [
Alarm Setup >>
], and set the [
Intubation Mode Period
] to [
