24 Hour Clock
The 24 Hour Clock and time related functions are also accessible through the Inputs Panel.
The 24 Hour Clock panel allows you to set the time and date in the console, as well as program daily and
hourly triggers for comment macro style commands. The 24 hour clock and calender in the HOG is not
affected by the Millenium bug, also known as the Y2K bug. It will correctly change from the year 1999 to
2000, and it correctly identifies the year 2000 as a leap year.
Setting the Time and Date
To set the time and date on an HOG, open the 24 hour Clock window by pressing

. The selection box will be located above the hour digit for the time. Press Set and then enter
the hours using 24 hour format; use the cursor keys to move to the minutes box (cursor right). Press Set and
enter minutes, repeat this procedure for the seconds and date settings.
To enter a day, you can either type the first three letters using a keyboard or use a number to indicate the
day (Monday = 1, Tuesday = 2, etc). To set the month, you can use either the keyboard or the number of
the month. The year may be entered as a 4 digit or 2 digit year, the console will interpret the century if
omitted.
Daily Triggers
Daily triggers allows you to leave the console running unattended and at a set time (or times) each day, the
console will trigger a comment macro. To set a daily trigger:

Move the selection box to the Daily Triggers box and
press
Set
.

Type the hour: minute value, followed by the trigger
command using comment macro syntax (ee Macros in
the Cuelist chapter for more information).

Hit
Enter
when finished.

To enter another daily trigger, press the down cursor key
and another trigger box will appear. Repeat steps 1 to 3.
You can enter multiple daily triggers, although only 4 triggers will show on screen at any one time. By
using the cursor keys, you can scroll through the list of triggers.
Hourly Triggers
Hourly triggers allows you to leave the console running unattended and at a set time (or times) each hour,
the console will trigger a comment macro. To set an hourly trigger;
