Step 4

 

Adjust the gap between door panels. 

After the door panels are installed and closed, the gap between panels may be uneven and 
look ungraceful, as described in 

Table 6-2

. If the gaps are even, skip this procedure.

Figure 6-20

 shows a tilted door. You can solve the problem in the following ways:   

−

 

If the door tilts by a large degree, adjust the anchor bolts of the cabinet. If a post is 
lifted off the floor due to the adjustment, add a spacer under the post.   

−

 

If the door slightly tilts, add a pad under the corresponding post to correct the tilt.   

 

Both methods must ensure that there is no gap between the post bottom and the floor.
