Q&A
1.) Digital Cassette Detector communication lost. Confirm communication with detector. Call
service if problem persists.
Solution:
Goes to “Service ->Diagnostics->Wireless Link Diagnostics”, then follow the recommend
procedures in the instruction.
2.) Wireless performance degraded. Please move the detector closer to iServer or remove any
obstruction blocking the detector antenna. If needed, change the wifi channel.
Solution:
Goes to “Service -> Diagnostic ->Wireless Detector->Signal Strength”, check the value of
“Bandwidth” and “SignalStrength”.

If “Signal strength” color is Yellow or Red: Relocate the detector: a) Be sure no object is
blocking detector’s antenna. b) Be sure the distance of detector and hardware AP is <=4m
(when hardware AP is used). c) Be sure the distance of detector and iServer is
<=4m(when no hardware AP is used.)

If “Signal strength” color is Green, but “Bandwidth” color is Red: Check whether hardware
AP is installed.
I.) If hardware AP is installed, then goes to “Service->Configuration->Wireless->Access
Point->Channel and power setting”, and change the working channel.
3.) Detector Wireless lost. If you have taken exposure, please adjust detector or patient position
to try wireless reconnecting and wait for image AUTO transfer. Call service if problem persists.
WARNING – Image will be lost if exposure taken.”
Solution:
i.)
If it is hardAP configuration, check whether AP cable is loose.
ii.) Check detector and make sure a) no object is blocking detector’s antenna. b) move
detector to make it near to hardAP (for hardAP configuration).
iii.) If still cannot recover wireless reconnection, and you have not taken exposure, you can
abort this and go to “Service ->Diagnostics->Wireless Link Diagnostics”, then follow the
recommend procedures in the instruction.
4.) There will be a popup message “Image has not received from detector. Wait for image AUTO
transfer, Adjust detector or patient position to improve wireless signal. Click ABORT to cancel
image transfer from detector. WARNING- Image will be lost if click ABORT”.A button “ABORT”
is provided to give up waiting for wireless reconnection and this image transfer.
Solution:
i.)
If it is hardAP configuration, check whether AP cable is loose. Please note that it will take
about 150s for AP reboot, please be patient to wait for the wireless reconnection after you
reconnects the AP cable.
ii.) Check detector and make sure a) no object is blocking detector’s antenna. b) move
detector to make it near to hardAP (for hardAP configuration).
