To set Dial Conditions parameters for each T-1 line, follow these steps, starting from the
T7 Modem Connect Configuration submenu:

. If your unit is equipped with one T-1 line
interface, the
DS1b
submenu does not appear on the screen. The parameters are
identical for both DS1 submenus.

3. The screen displays the current setting for each DS1a Dial Condition Event.
Press the 1 button to scroll through the options for the Blue alarm, the 2 button
for the Yellow alarm, and the 3 button for the Red alarm. When the desired
options are displayed, press the Escape button two times to return to the T7
Modem Connect Configuration submenu.

Retry Attempts
The Retry parameter specifies the maximum number of times the ISX 5312/5314
automatically redials a call if the previous attempt is unsuccessful. The available options
are

. When the maximum number of dial attempts fail, you must clear
them before the unit will automatically dial again. To do so, enter DSU Status submenu
and press the buttons beneath
