. This parameter allows you to select the number
of minutes a modem link initiated by the CMS 400 can remain inactive before
the ISX 5312/5314 automatically disconnects the call. The options are
0
(automatic disconnect disabled) through
120
minutes.

9. The screen displays a 3-digit field in the top line with a cursor under the leftmost
digit. To increase the digit, press the 1 button; to decrease it, press the 2 button.
To copy a character into the next space, press the 3 button. Press the < and >
buttons to move from space to space.

Originating Calls
Calls can be originated automatically (if the Dial Conditions parameter(s) are enabled)
or manually by entering a front panel command. To call manually, press the button
under
Dial in the T7 Modem Connect Configuration submenu. Then press the button
beneath
Yes
.
Note: Be sure that you have set the Type parameter in the Modem Configuration
submenu (described in the “Selecting the Modem Type” section in this chapter) and all
the applicable parameters in the T7 Modem Connect Configuration submenu before
dialing manually.
