The display shows the status of the following.  If an asterisk (

*

) appears

following the signal, it is currently active.

•

Tx

 - indicates whether the Ethernet controller is transmitting data packets.

•

Rx

 - indicates whether the Ethernet controller is receiving data packets.

•

Col

 - indicates whether the Ethernet controller detects collision activity on

the network.

Steps 11 and 12 apply only for central site model ISX 5314 units.

Cage

.  The screen indicates whether the ISX 5314 is

installed in an Excalibur Card Carrier or an ISX 5010 chassis.  If the unit is
installed in an Excalibur Card Carrier, the screen also displays the cage number
(1-6).
