3. Press the Escape button two times to return to the Configure APC submenu.
If you select the Force A or Force B option, the ISX 5312/5314’s Test LED lights to
indicate that a test is in progress. To terminate the test and turn off the LED, press the
button beneath
Norml
or use the RTN (Return to Normal) function as described in the
“RTN Function” section in Chapter 6.
When the Revertive Mode parameter is enabled, the ISX 5312/5314 switches back to the
primary line from the protection if the primary line has been in a good state for a
specified amount of time. The amount of time, from 0 to 900 seconds, is determined by
the Telco and programmed into the ISX 5312/5314 by the Telco via a TABS
maintenance message. The default values are: ES - 20 seconds, SES - 2 seconds, and
Availability Timer - 900 seconds. When this parameter is disabled, the ISX 5312/5314
does not switch back to the primary line unless a failure occurs on the protection line and
the primary line is in a good state.
To enable the Revertive Mode parameter, follow these steps:
1. Press the button beneath Revrt .
