Using the Main Menu
Configure options for email notifications. By
default, the system is setup to use the free
Digimerge DDNS service.
NOTE:
To use email notification, you must
use a DDNS service.
To enable E-mail notification:
1. Select
SEND E-MAIL
and press the
buttons to select
1MIN, 2MIN, 3MIN,
4MIN,
or
5MIN
. This is the frequency that
an email will be set when an event occurs.
Select
OFF
to disable email notification.
2. Select
SMTP SERVER
and press the
button to open the character table. Press
the
and
buttons to
enter the IP address of the SMTP server.
3. Select
DVR E-MAIL ADDR
and press the
button to open the character table.
Press the
and
buttons
to enter the email address to which you
want to send the notifications.
4. Press the
button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select
SAVE ONLY
or
SAVE AND EXIT
to save your settings.
Optional
Once you enter the SMTP and email address,
you can also enter the user ID and password
for the email account.
You can add up to 10 additional email
addresses to send email notifications.
