Using the Main Menu
RECORD LIMIT
Set a recording limit for your system.
To set the record limit:
1. Press the
buttons to set the value for
the record limit. Set from 1~6 days, 1~4
weeks, 1~11 months, 1 year, and OFF.
2. Press the
button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select
SAVE ONLY
or
SAVE AND EXIT
to save your settings.
BACKUP MODE
Use Backup Mode to automatically copy
recorded events (motion detection, alarm,
video loss) to an external USB hard drive, or to
enable
disk mirroring
. Mirroring enables the
system to write data to the internal hard disk
and an external USB hard drive(s)
simultaneously.
NOTE:
In order to use Event or Mirror
backup, you must have at least one external
USB hard drive connected to either of the
USB ports on the rear panel of the system.
Event
With your Backup Mode set to Event, the
system will copy only recorded events (motion
detection, alarm, video loss) to a connected
USB external hard drive.
To set Event backup mode:
1. Select
BACKUP MODE
.
2. Press the
buttons and select
EVENT
.
3. Press the
button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select
SAVE ONLY
or
SAVE AND EXIT
to save your settings.
