RS485
Configure options for a RS485 controller.
To configure RS485 options:
1. Use the drop-down menus to configure the
following options:
•
SYSTEM ID
: Set the system ID from 0~255.
Note:
The system ID on the RS485
controller and the system must match in
order for the controller to function properly.
•
BAUD RATE
: Set the transmission rate for
the RS485 controller: 1200, 2400, 4800,
9600, 19200, 57600.
•
DATA BIT
: Set the size of each bit of data
sent to the RS485 controller: 6, 7, or 8.
•
PARITY BIT
: Set the error checking for the
data to
EVEN
,
ODD
, or
NONE
.
•
STOP BIT
: Set bit for ending a transmission
to
1
or
2
.
2. To save your settings to your DVR, click
Update to DVR
.
PTZ
Set the model, speed, and ID for connected
PTZ cameras (not included).
NOTE:
Please refer to your PTZ camera’s
instruction manual prior to changing setting.
To configure PTZ options:
1. Under MODEL, select the following for the
channel(s) with a connected PTZ camera:

to set the PTZ ID from

.
4. To save your settings to your DVR, click
Update to DVR
