Appendix M: Remote Viewing using Internet Explorer
Live Viewing
With Internet Explorer configured and ActiveX installed, live video streams from your connected
DVR. The interface resembles the DigiClient Software (included).
1.
IP Address/Port/MAC address
: Enter your system’s IP address or DDNS address and port number.
The display shows the MAC address of the connect DVR (non-selectable).

Primary Control buttons
: Click the following to control remote viewing:

Main Display:
During live viewing and playback, displays split-screen or full-screen images.

Channel Indicators
: Shows status of active channels on your system—
Yellow
: continuous record;
Red
: motion recording.
5.
IP Server
: Check the box to use an IP server.
6.
Live/Play/frames
: Click Live to start live viewing; click Play to begin playback. The display shows the
current frame rate (non-selectable; affected by bandwidth).

DVR Search
: Scan for DVRs connected to
your network

Connect
: Connect to your DVR; you must
enter your DVR password to log in.
•
Disconnect
: Quit connection to your DVR.
•
Pan/Tilt
: Open Pan/Tilt controls.
NOTE:
A PTZ camera must be connected
to your DVR in order to use Pan/Tilt
controls.

Full Screen
: View display screen in full
screen (browser window disappears). Press
Esc
on your keyboard to exit.
•
Auto
: Enable/disable Auto Sequence mode.
Click
to increase/decrease dwell time
from 1~60 seconds.
NOTE:
The higher the dwell time, the
longer a channel will remain on-screen.

DVR Control
: Non-selectable.
