Distillation Process Analyzer DPA-4.5

Installation and preparation for commissioning

Supplying with cooling medium

Make sure that:

−

The properties of the cooling medium, in particular pressure
and temperature, correspond to the specifications in the
installation plan and technical data.

−

The cooling medium supply lines are clean (see page 97).

Procedure

•

Open the system-side shut-off valve of the cooling medium
supply line.

•

Check whether the screw connection is sealed tightly.

Cooling medium flows through the cooling pipe and, if
applicable, through the receiver.

NOTE

In particular if cooling medium is used at low
temperature, this may result in condensation.
Therefore, block the cooling medium supply line if
the analyzer is not in operation for a lengthy period.
