WARNING
Explosion protection is not provided when the
pressure monitor is switched off
The control box contains ignition sources.
Operating the device when the pressure monitor of
the control box is switched off can result in
explosions in potentially explosive atmospheres.
For this reason:
– Never deactivate the explosion protection during
normal operation. Leave the key switch in the
Explosion protection On
position.
– Switching off the explosion protection (
Explosion
protection Off
position) is solely intended for
service work. No potentially explosive
atmosphere may be present during this time.
– After performing service work, close the control
box carefully with the aid of the two catches and
switch on the pressure monitor again using the
key switch.
The pressure monitor can be switched off for servicing or
maintenance work.

Insert the key in the key switch. Turn the key clockwise to its
stop.
The control box pressure monitor is switched off.
The box is
no longer protected against explosions.
Even when the control box is open, all electrical components
are still supplied with a voltage.

The
catches
of the control box are fitted with safety bolts.

Keep the door of the control box shut during operation and for
up to five minutes after switching off the power supply and all
other external voltage supplies for signal and control lines in
order to allow electrical charges to discharge and high
temperatures to drop safely.
