Opening the box

Closing the box
The measuring unit box can be opened for service and
maintenance work:
WARNING
Danger of explosion due to ignition
sources inside
Hot surfaces in the interior can ignite an
explosive atmosphere.
For this reason:
– Turn off the power supply before
opening and wait for 25 minutes.

Unscrew the locking screw (
1
in Figure 2.3) in the
box cover.
NOTE
The box cover is equipped with a hinge
to prevent it from falling down.
•
Turn the box cover counterclockwise and pull it out
of the box. Use both socket wrenches to do this.
•
Make sure that the threads in the box and box cover
are not damaged. If threads are damaged, the
ignition resistance of the gap is not ensured!
•
Turn the box cover clockwise, pushing it into the box
up to the stop.
•
Fasten the box cover with the locking screw (

).
The box cover is completely inserted in the box. The
box is protected against explosions.
