Installation and preparation for commissioning
Connecting the power supply
1.
Connect the device to the local potential equalization with a
cable cross-section of at least 16 mm
2
.
For the position of the connections on the rack, please refer
to the installation plan in the customer folder.
2.
Unlock and open the power supply box (see page 68) using a
double-bit key.
3.
Dismantle the flange plate and use the connection diagram
provided to drill holes for the cable ducts. Make sure that the
flange plate is still sufficiently stable with the holes.
4.
Equip the flange plate with suitable cable ducts.
5.
Screw the flange plate onto the power supply box.
6.
Guide the cables through the cable ducts into the power
supply box.
7.
Connect all protective grounding conductors and power
supply lines as described in the terminal plan.
8.
Tighten the cable ducts.
9.
Close unused cable ducts and drill holes for cable ducts
professionally.
10.
Attach the contact protection to the terminals again.
11.
Lock the power supply box using a double-bit key.
Connecting the electrical signal
lines
1.
Unscrew the cover of the signal junction box (see page 68).
2.
Dismantle the flange plate and use the connection diagram
provided to drill holes for the cable ducts. Make sure that the
flange plate is still sufficiently stable with the holes.
3.
Equip the flange plate with suitable cable ducts.
4.
Screw the flange plate onto the signal junction box.
5.
Guide the cables through the cable ducts into the signal
junction box.
6.
Connect all protective grounding conductors and signal lines
as described in the terminal plan.
7.
Tighten the cable ducts.
8.
Close unused cable ducts and drill holes for cable ducts
professionally.
9.
Equip the cover with a potential equalization.
10.
Close the signal junction box and screw the cover firmly in
place.
