Installing the heating cartridges
This is how to install the heating cartridges again.
•
Thoroughly clean the holes in the bottom of the flask.
•
Insert the heating cartridges in the holder.
•
Make sure the holder is installed in the right position. The
fastening hole must be at the bottom.
•
Insert the heating cartridges in the holed in the bottom of the
flask until they are flush with the holder on the cable end.
Note: Do not crush the cables.
•
Tighten the holder again using the two screws.
•
Reinstall the flask bottom temperature sensor.
•
Carry out the step is section 0 “Installing the distillation flask
and expansion tank” on page 137.
•
Close the measuring unit box.

10.5.8 Replacing the battery of the industry PC
The analyzer is controlled using an industry PC. It is located in the
control box (see page 64). The industry PC is equipped with a
lithium battery. Among other things, it ensures that the system
clock continues to run in the event of a power failure. To ensure
the functioning of the industry PC, the battery should be replaced
every five years.
Preparation
WARNING
Risk of explosion when replacing the battery in
potentially explosive atmospheres
Removal and installation of the battery may cause
sparks. They can ignite potentially explosive
atmospheres.
Therefore:
– Make sure that there is no potentially explosive
atmosphere before starting any work required to
replace the battery.
You must open the control box to replace the battery.

Switch off the analyzer to do this (see page 111).
•
Make sure that the power supply is switched off.
