Maintenance

Removing the heating cartridges

•

Undo the screws of the holder (1) until it is loose.

•

Pull out the heating cartridges.

Do not pull the cable.

In some cases the heating rods may be stuck so tight in their holes
that they cannot be pulled out. In this case, proceed as follows.

Use the supplied plastic mallet and cotter pin driver (3.9 mm
recommended) to tap out the heating cartridges from the back
forward. Place the driver in the center of the heating cartridge
(2). Take care not to damage the distillation flask.
