General information

potentially explosive atmospheres.
1.3 Intended use
The device is solely intended for use as a process analyzer for the
fully automatic measurement of the process of the distillation of
petroleum products.
The device is only to be used for stationary operation.
Every device is designed for up to three specific products and may
only be used to measure the distillation process of these products.
The following uses of the device are prohibited. They are regarded
as improper use:

Feeding other liquids, vapors or gases into the device; in
particular this applies to an external vent/drain system. Adding
oxygen or hydrogen can result in the risk of explosions.

Rinsing with steam. High temperatures and pressures damage
device components.

Feeding liquid gas and carbon dioxide into the device.
Do not make any modifications to the device. Only use
replacement parts from BARTEC BENKE. Otherwise additional
hazards may arise for which the safety equipment cannot provide
sufficient protection.
WARNING
Danger due to improper use
Every instance of improper use or usage for
purposes other than that for which the device is
expressly intended can result in dangerous
situations.
For this reason:
– Only use the device for its intended purpose.
– Adhere strictly to all specifications and
instructions in this operating manual at all times.
Claims of any type for damage that results from improper use are
excluded.
The operator bears sole liability for all damage resulting from
improper use.
