Design and function

4.4.3 Fluid technology

The fluid technology subassembly contains components for
regulating the pressure and filtering the required instrument air and
bubble gas (nitrogen). To protect the cooling pipe circuit, a filter
unit is installed for filtering the cooling medium. If the optional

receiver tempering

is installed, there will normally be a needle

valve for adjusting the flow of cooling medium through the receiver.
It can only be omitted, if cooling pipe and receiver are cooled
parallel.
