Door Seal O-Ring (22-00537)

Required Tools: Small plastic pick tool.
Preparation: 1. Open the chamber door.

Note : The door does not have to be removed in order to
remove the O-ring seal.
Removal: 1. Insert the plastic pick tool in the groove near the center of the
bottom of the door seal O-ring channel.
2. Pry the O-ring up and out of the channel. Pull the O-ring out of
the entire circumference of the channel.
Replacement: 1. Thoroughly clean the door seal O-ring channel.
2. Lubricate the new O-ring with a light coating of approved
vacuum grease.
3. Insert the new O-ring into the channel and press it into the
channel until it is seated. Avoid stretching the O-ring.
4. Test the fit of the seal by closing and latching the door.
5. Test the integrity of the seal by performing a vacuum diagnostic
test.
