Overview
The options in the Devices page (FIG. 47) allow you to configure up to 2 "centrally located" IR-controlled
devices (e.g. VCR, DVD, DVR or Satellite Decoders) connected to the IR output ports ("IRTX1" & "IRTX2")
on the rear panel of the UDM-0102 (see FIG. 48).
The options in the Control Bar at the bottom of this page allow you to schedule IR commands and send IR
commands directly to these devices. Use IR01IR Emitter Modules (FG-IR01 - not included) to transmit IR
signals directly from the UDM-0102 to each centrally located device.

• Device: Devices "1" and "2" listed here correspond to devices connected to the IRTX1 and IRTX2
connectors on the rear panel of the UDM-0102 (see FIG. 48):
• The device connected to the IRTX1 connector is represented as Device "1" on the
Devices page.
• The device connected to the IRTX2 connector is represented as Device "2" on the
Devices page.
• Name: These text fields display the name currently assigned to each of the centrally located
devices. The device names can be entered/edited directly in these fields.
• Protocol: These drop-down menus allow you to specify the IR protocol to be used to control each
centrally located device.
The Device’s commands must have been learned by the UDM-0102 in order to function.
IR Protocols are defined in the Protocols page - see the
Configuration - Protocols
Page section on page 51 for information.
• Include: Select this checkbox for each devices that you want to include in the Schedule and/or
Send to Included options in the Control Bar (see below).
Control Bar
