push the unscrew protection cap (Fig. 6-9/ 3 )
over the optical fiber to be connected

Connect the optical fiber (Fig. 6-9/ 4 ) to the
Slider Laser TIRF using the threaded retaining
ring (Fig. 6-9/

). Take care that the lug of the
fiber connector is introduced horizontally into
the Slider Laser TIRF.

Fix the unscrew protection cap (Fig. 6-9/ 3 ) to
the threaded retaining ring using the two Allen
screws (Fig. 6-9/
2 ).
If you use a self-provided laser, it may
be necessary to adapt polarization of
the laser radiation by introducing the
lug of the fiber connector vertically into
the Slider Laser TIRF.
