Assembly of the Magnet Screw
The magnet screw consists of three parts.
•
First screw the M5x12 (Fig. 3-18/
3
) screw into
one of the threaded holes (Fig. 3-18/

) on the
microscope stand close to the transmitted light
illumination carrier using an Allen key (SW 4).
•
Then tighten the ring magnet (Fig. 3-18/

) into
the big screw (Fig. 3-18/
3
) by means of the
small M3x8 screw (Fig. 3-18/
1
) with the aid of
the T10 wrench. Do not overtighten, otherwise
the magnet could be broken.
•
Apply the contact plug for laser safety to the
magnet screw. If the plug is too loose on the
screw it can be adjusted using the small screw
(Fig. 3-18/

) on the side of the plug. Tighten
the screw.
The corresponding operating manuals will inform you about how to connect the incubation
components to their control units and give you a detailed description of their (computer-
controlled) operation.
