Laser Safety for the Sample Compartment

The laser light can escape from the objective at different angles, meaning that laser safety must be
ensured for the sample compartment.
There are appropriate devices such as the laser safety cover for reflected light and different types of
incubator for this.

The laser safety cover for reflected light provided for mechanical and scanning stages may be used in
combination with different stages. To check compatibility, please see the table in Section 2.9.1 on

page 39. Condensers of NA 0.55 and NA 0.35 may be used.
Fig. 2-7 shows the components of the laser safety cover (for assembly see Section 0 on page 57).
