1. Install:
• Tie rod

• Locknuts 2
• Joints

2. Check:
• Tie rod angle

CAUTION:
After tightening the inside and outside ball joint
locknut
2 , make sure the tie rod 1 can be
rotated freely through the ball joint travel. If not,
loosen the locknut

and re-position the ball
joint so that the tie rod

can be rotated freely.
Tighten the locknut to specification.
