NOTE:
Be sure the sheave cap match mark (X) is aligned
with the spider match mark (X).

14 Nm (1.4 m · kg, 10 ft · lb)
INSTALLATION
1. Install:
• Primary sheave assembly
CAUTION:
Be sure to remove any oil or grease from the
tapered portion of the crankshaft and spider
using a cloth dampened with thinner.
2. Apply:
• Engine oil (to threads of primary sheave bolt)
3. Tighten:
• Primary sheave bolt

Tightening steps:
• Hold the primary sheave

using the sheave
holder
3
and tighten the primary sheave bolt to
specification.
Sheave holder:

Primary clutch holder:
