Cable Routing Example: Maximum Performance
The following configuration maximizes performance by alternating the connectivity of additional
ISE between switch pairs. This allows ISE to be equally balanced across the storage ports on the
Emprise system controllers. When the 22nd ISE is added, an additional switch pair is required.
Important
: To ensure that failover functions correctly and to optimize performance of the
Emprise 7000 system, use the Emprise 7000 Configuration Guide for the specific port
connectivity that applies to the system you are installing.
