Changing ICON Network Settings

You can change the management port IP address, subnet mask, and gateway for the ICON
appliance through ICON Manager. If you want to change additional settings, such as the DNS-
Server or time zone, use a terminal editor, as described on the following page.

Changing ICON Network Settings Through ICON Manager

1. In ICON Manager, select the ICON Manager node.

2. Select Configure ICON Management Port from the Actions Pane.

3. Enter the network settings in the following dialog.

Caution:

Changing the IP address of the ICON Mgmt port and the network settings
causes the ICON appliance to reboot. You will not be able to access ICON until
this procedure is complete.
