User Guide
The Device User Interface does not Respond
There may be occasions when the Device User Interface will not respond. Reboot your device by
powering OFF and ON using the button on the control panel.
•
Wait approximately 20 seconds before turning the device back ON. Any incomplete jobs in the
jobs list will be lost.
•
Only use the correct power off process to reboot your device. Damage may occur to your device
if power is removed by other means.

•
Ask your System Administrator to disconnect the network cable and perform a software reset
(the instructions to perform the reset are in the System Administrator Guide).
•
Repeat the software reset 2 times.

Check to see if there is a paper jam. Clear the paper path of all obstructions.
•
Turn the device off, wait 2 minutes, then turn it on again.
