Choosing Not to Show the Internet Services Welcome Page Again
Internet Services uses the embedded web server on the device. This allows you to communicate
with the device over the internet or intranet through your web browser.
Use the Status tab on the Welcome page to access to features that are useful when the device is
first installed.
Once the device has been installed you may want to select the Don’t Show Welcome Page Again
box. This will re-order the Status Menu putting the Description & Alerts page at the top so that it
becomes the first page to open rather than the Welcome page. The Welcome page will still be
available, but will move to the bottom of the Status menu.
1. At your computer, open your web browser.
2. In the URL field, use your keyboard to enter http:// followed by the IP Address of the device. For
example: If the IP Address is 192.168.100.100, enter http://192.168.100.100.
Note:
To find out the IP Address of your device, print a configuration report or ask your System
Administrator.
3. Press
the
Enter
button on your keyboard to load the page.
4. If required, click the
Status
tab. This is usually the active tab when Internet Services opens.
5. If
required,
select
Welcome
from the Status menu on the left of the page. The Welcome page
is usually the active page when Internet Services opens. You can change this default.
6. Select
the
Don’t Show Welcome Page Again checkbox
. When you re-open Internet Services
the Welcome page will no longer be the first page displayed.
