Advanced PowerScript Functions

0 IRE
—Use this setting when you need to match PowerScript’s output to equipment
that puts out 0 IRE black. Some equipment, especially consumer-level, puts out a
lower black level at 0 IRE.

7.5 IRE
—Use this setting to have PowerScript output blacks at the broadcast stan-
dard of 7.5 IRE.
Advanced Settings
If you ever have occasion to contact Videonics Technical Support for assistance, you
might be asked to access the
Advanced Settings
.
WARNING!
Never make changes to the Advanced Setting unless specifically asked to do
so by Videonics Technical Support.
Studio Model Settings
To access this menu, click the
Studio Model Settings
button in the
SETUP VIDEO
menu
(described above).
Out Sync/Horizontal Phase
—If you are using PowerScript’s sync function and your output
signals lose synchronization, enter a value in the
Horizontal Phase
text box to adjust the
timing and restore synchronization.
Out Key/Key Delay
—This option is similar to the one above except that it can be used to
adjust the signal phase being output through PowerScript’s Key OUT connector.
