The Num Lock key (upper left corner of the keypad) has an effect only when Scroll Lock
is Off (that is, when in Edit mode). In this mode, you can use the keypad keys to enter
numbers as text—they do not function as playback control keys. When Scroll Lock is On
(Play mode), the Num Lock key has no effect.
