Interface

Tapping the Interface setup box opens the Rx Interface screen. The Interface setup options for the Rx are the same as for the Tx

described previously, except for clock offset, which is not possible.

Interface Rx Setup

Note:

 Remember to use an optical attenuator to prevent receiver overload or damage – refer to the SFP chart below to determine

safe levels. Avoid looping back the Tx and Rx on a 1550nm XFP or SFP using a patchcord only as this will damage the SFP.
