Press the 

Call

 button to bring up the Call Setup menu. Data calls follow the same setup procedure as voice calls but with a few

minor differences.

Fill out the call setup as described in 

11.7.1.3 Call - Voice and 3.1K Audio Setup

, but select Data as the Call Type.

Select a 

Bearer Rate

 in the call setup options.

Press the 

Pattern

 tab and select a test pattern to be transmitted on the B channel during data calls.

Note:

 Test pattern is only applied when call button is pressed.
