Some high level alarms (e.g., LOS, AIS) may make the whole matrix turn red as they affect the whole signal. Nonetheless, only
the appropriate soft LEDs will be updated to indicate the cause.
Changing the signal under test requires RESCAN.
Note
: On an STM-64 signal, VC-4-8c tributaries must be aligned as the first channel of any 16c block to be decoded correctly.
That is, they must start in channels 1, 17, 33, and 49. If the 8c block starts in a different position, the TX300/e will detect it and
highlight it in red.
Similarly, on an OC-198 signal, STS-24c SPE tributaries must be aligned as the first channel of any 48c block to be decoded
correctly. That is, they must start in channels 1, 49, 97, and 145. If the 24c block starts in a different position, the TX300/e will
detect it and highlight it in red.
