Improving browser performance
Performance with Internet Explorer on the desktop computer is improved by decreasing
the time it takes for Web pages to be refreshed.

In Internet Explorer on your PC, select Tools → Internet Options .

Click the Advanced tab.

Clear the Use smooth scrolling check box.
7.4 Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology. Unlike infrared, you
don't need to line up the devices to beam information within a closer range when operat-
ing with Bluetooth connection.
With Bluetooth powered on, you can send information or perform the following tasks wire-
lessly between two Bluetooth devices within a range of about 10 meters (30 feet) :

Exchange information , such as files, calendar items, tasks, and contacts or business
cards.

Synchronize with a PC with Bluetooth capability through an ActiveSync connec-
tion.

Partner with a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and use it as a wireless modem.
n
Connect to, use, and disconnect to other Bluetooth devices.
