Assembly
PREPARATION:
(a) Disconnect negative (-) terminal cable from the battery,
and wait at least for 90 seconds.
(b) Remove lhe sleering wheel pad (See page SR-1 1).
(c)
Disconnect the connector of the front passenger airbag
assembly (See page R$-27).
(d) Disconnect the connector of the side airbag a�sembly RH
and LH (See page R&-40).
(e) Disconnect the connector of the seat belt pretensioner
RH and LH (See page BG-1 09).
(f)
Disconnect the connectors of the airbag sensor assembly
(See page R8-53).
(g)
Disconnect the connector of the front airbag sensor RH
and
LH
(See page R$-58).
(h) Disconnect the connector of the side airbag sensor as­
sembly RH and LH (See page RS--133).
(i) Disconnect the connector of the door side airbag sensor
RH and LH (See page RS--138).
CAUTION:
Store the steering wheel pad, front passenger alrbag as­
sembly and side alrbag assemlby with the front surface
facing upward.
