command re-execu tions (> and A> commands).

Sets the required duration, in tenths of a second, of
the remote modem's carrier signal before recognition
by the MP/16 modem.

modem waits after loss of carrier before hanging up.
This guard time allows the modem to distinguish
between a line hit or other disturbance that
momentarily breaks the connection, from a true
discon nect (hanging up) by the remote modem.
