AT Command Reference
&S4 The modem sends the computer a DSR signal at the same
time as it sends the Carrier Detect (CD).
&S5 CTS follows CD, with DSR normal.

Write the current settings to NVRAM.
The &W command may be used to save current settings, or placed
at the end of a command string to save new settings, as in the
following example.
AT&B1&H1&R2X7&A3T&W
NOTE:
DIP switch 10 must be set OFF for the modem to load the
settings stored in NVRAM at power-on or reset. If DIP switch 10 is
set ON, the factory defaults are always loaded.
DTE NVRAM Lockout
This option prevents unauthorized or accidental NVRAM
configuration changes. When set for NVRAM lockout, the &W
command is disabled, and changes can not be made to settings
stored in NVRAM.
Send the following command to activate NVRAM lockout:
ATR&W
Thereafter, if the &W command is issued, an ERROR message is
displayed.
To disable NVRAM lock out, making NVRAM programmable
again, complete the steps below:
