WAN IP Subnet Mask
Current WAN IP Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.192
Press Return or press Esc to exit.
Enter New WAN IP Subnet Mask:

To change the WAN IP subnet mask, enter a new address at the
prompt and press Return. Press the Esc key to cancel and go back
to the prevous screen.
3—Local Gateway IP Address
The MP/16 uses the Gateway IP address to route data packets that
are not destined for the either of the two subnets directly connected
to it. The illustration below shows a sample configuration. For the
sake of simplicity, the subnet masks have all been set to
255.255.255.0

When the MP receives a packet from the LAN interface that is
bound for a system on the subnet attached to the WAN interface
192.77.202.0), the packet will be forwarded to that subnet.
Similarly, when the MP receives a packet from the WAN interface
that is bound for the subnet attached to the LAN interface, the MP
will forward it to the appropriate destination.
