Display Result Codes as Verbal or Numeric

DIP Switch Override Command: V

When set to Numeric, modem result codes are displayed as
numbers. For a complete list of numeric result codes, see
Appendix B.
Numeric result codes are followed by a carriage return but no line
feed, as in the following example, where a number is dialed and
the numeric result code 3 is returned.

3TD5551234
When set to Verbal, modem result codes are displayed as words.
Verbal responses are preceded and followed by a carriage return
and line feed.
Settings: DIP Switch 2 ON/V0 Numeric
DIP Switch 2 OFF/V1 Verbal
Default: DIP Switch 2 OFF (Verbal)
Result Code Groups

The modem returns only those result codes for a particular group.
Used to eliminate software incompatibility with certain result
codes.
Settings:
X0
Basic group. Returns result codes 0-4, but
does not return call progress and connect
rates or offer advanced functions.
X1-X7
Extended result co des. See table 4-1.
