is for as long as the mouse button is being pressed. Please note that the nature of butt-join can cause
the fader to jump upon release of the mouse button.
For buttons, e.g., Cut, the duration of this region depends on whether in REC only or REC/PLAY
mode. If in REC/PLAY mode, the duration is instantaneous, whereas if in REC only mode the
duration is to the end of the playback region.
The result of BUTT JOIN mode is that when a control is released, if there was any automation data
previously recorded, the control value will resume playback of the original movements.
UNDO button
Selecting UNDO immediately after recording live automation data will undo the moves made since
the system last became live. If you start to replay a recorded timecode, then it cannot be undone. You
can currently get around this limitation by saving the automation to a file before any auditioning.
Please note you cannot undo while automation is live.
CLEAR ALL button
This button removes all automation data from the mixer.
Arm SELECT mode button
When this button is on, it is displayed in red. The automated controls of the mixer can then be
left-clicked on with the mouse to toggle their arm state individually. The control is otherwise
unchanged. This mode is disabled automatically when the system becomes live.
Arm ALL button
This button simply causes all automatable controls to become armed. The button is disabled while
automation is live.
Arm NONE button
This button causes all automatable controls to become disarmed. The button is disabled while
automation is live.
Play SELECT mode button
When this button is on, it is displayed in red. The automated controls of the mixer can then be
left-clicked on with the mouse to toggle their play state individually. The control is otherwise
unchanged. This mode is disabled automatically when the system becomes live.
Play ALL button
This button simply causes all automatable controls to become playable. The button is disabled while
automation is live.
Play NONE button
This button causes all automatable controls to become non-playable. The button is disabled while
automation is live.
